Hampton Hall's new owner has the villagers of St. Hampton Heath all aflutter - all except Lavinia Ellison. The reverend's daughter cares for those who are poor and sick, and the seventh Earl of Hawkesbury definitely does not meet that criteria. His refusal to take his responsibilities seriously, or even darken the door of the church, leave her convinced he is as arrogant and reckless as his brother - his brother who stole the most important person in Lavinia's world.

Wonderful!
When history meets fiction it is wonderful! I love this era in history and to have the hero and heroine at opposite sides…Or are they? Suspense, intrigue and a cast of characters they keep you guessing! Cannot wait to start book 2! Story and Audible perfect!

Ring of Secrets Awesome story
Really enjoyed this story and I always enjoy Sarah Zimmerman’s narration. She can bring life to any kind of story. First enjoyed her telling of Catching Christmas, so I’m a big fan. Excited to listen to the next book in the series.

Fabulous Story
I don’t normally read books from this time period but I’m so glad I did. I couldn’t stop listening to this book. It had mystery, intrigue, romance, and the characters were interesting.

Fascinating
Believable, real characters who have a practical deep faith who question, doubt, learn, and grow. History made alive and well researched. plot moves quickly with no drag.

Wonderful!
Roseanna White writes suspenseful romance with great twists and turns that leave you wanting more. With characters seeking truth and seeking God’s Will, it’s a wonderful reminder that He loves us and His weave is more intricate than we could ever know. With a tendency to binge read her books, I love that the endings always have surprises that leave no stone unturned and nothing left out, often with a lead of her next book. Fantastic writer and wonderful intro book to the series. I did listen to them out of order, but am strongly considering listening to them again in the correct order. So lovely—always echoing our Heavenly Father’s love, even when complete devastation occurs. He is there.

Great story
I very much enjoyed this story as it brought to life the history of our nation. I had difficulty appreciating the narrator, but gradually adjusted to her.

Entertaining and educational
It was interesting being reminded of a period in history and a glimpse of the people in that ara with the espionage going on around them. A very fun rendition. I look forward to the next book although I hope a new narrator is selected. This one seldom attempted to change voices with different characters and men and women often sounded similar.
