Publisher's summary

"I'm not your savior."

I didn't want to be worshiped like some deity—an instant replacement for the asuras. For so long, these people looked up to the asuras as gods, but the asuras kept trying to kill them.

Arthur Leywin has finally returned to the continent of Dicathen, but his home is still firmly in the hands of the enemy. His display of unprecedented power brings hope to his allies and fear to his enemies. It also deeply embroils him in a conflict between the godlike asuras, with Agrona Vritra on one side and Kezess Indrath on the other.

With the crimes of his past life haunting him in the form of the Legacy, Arthur can no longer afford to hone only his strength. He must also empower those closest to him or risk losing them all.

Don't mess with voice actors.

Both voice actors are great and I would listen to anything without complaint if that is from the start. However it's jarring and unpleasant imo to change after 9 books. Even more so when they don't split it between male and female voice actors.

The ending of this book has me excited for the next one. Excited to see how it plays out.

great continuation to the story but 50/50 narration ruins it

half the narration is travis witch dose a fantastic job but other half is Elizabeth who narrates the same voices as Travis witch makes it confusing witch character is speaking should of done Elizabeth done the female characters and Travis do the male characters instead of this taking turns shit

good story, bad sound design

changing the voice actors up mid series kindof sucks, and having 2 different ones voice the same characters is clunky. should have the female one do all lines from female characters not just based on pov or chapter

mid

Love the story but was not feeling the female voice actor. The boncing back and forth no good.

Very impressed

Over all it is very well written, and the ending is absolutely amazing. It leaves off on a cliffhanger, and I just want more!!!

Took a bit to get used to both narrators

It took me a while to get used to Elizabeth coming in as the second narrator. I have to assume this had to do with scheduling conflicts and possibly the strike, but it did dilute things, a bit. I think some of the reviews here are very I fair to Elizabeth and I believe she did a decent job. I would have preferred just Travis, but that's just a review of the performance, overall. The story is incredibly good. I cannot wait for the next book.

The divergent strings of story

I really appreciate that all the divergent strings of story coalesce into a consistent and meaningful manner.
