The history of North America is marred by atrocities committed against Native peoples. Indigenous cultures were erased in the name of Christianity. As a result, to this day few Native Americans are followers of Jesus. Interesting and enlightening read, mediocre narrator
This book would be best for students of theology and missiology or those interested in pastoral work among Native people. Some of the theory-laden chapters would likely not be appropriate for the average lay reader.
However, I did not like the narrator. The tone was often stilted and pedantic, and some tribal names are mispronounced.
