Steve Harper is a retired seminary professor who taught for more than thirty years in the disciplines of Spiritual Formation and Wesley Studies. He has taught in colleges, universities, and seminaries in the Unites States and elsewhere in the world. Steve received his PhD in Wesley Studies from Duke University in 1981. He also holds the MDiv and B.A degrees. He has authored and co-authored many books. You can see them here at his Amazon Author Page. Steve and Jeannie, have been married since 1970. They have two grown children (John and Katrina) and three grandchildren (Zoe, Isaac, and James). They have two in-laws: Allison and Chris. Steve continues to write on his Oboedire website, and he posts daily brief meditations on his "Little Lights" facebook page.
