This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Such a moving story about humanity’s grace and meanness. If ever a character was to be held in memory it is Gemmie.
I loved the view of the back country and how it shaped people especially the children. I was only sorry that it came to an end
