"Be holy, for I am holy," commands God to His people. But holiness is something that is often missed in the Christian's daily life. According to Jerry Bridges, that's because we're not exactly sure what our part in holiness is. In The Pursuit of Holiness, he helps us see clearly just what we should rely on God to do-and what we should accept responsibility for ourselves. Whether you're continuing your pursuit of holiness or just beginning, the principles and guidelines in The Pursuit of Holiness will challenge you to obey God's command of holiness.

I loved this book and the audiobook. The narrator has such an amazing voice, it's a great listen. After finishing the book, I'm convicted about the need for holiness in my life. If you have the opportunity, get this book.
I love this book and have read it in print format before. I purchased it here to make reviewing it easier. The narrator's voice grates so badly that I cannot focus on the message he is reading. I neecd to pursue a refund on this one.
This book was given to me by my pastor who in mentoring me for pastoral ministry. I am not a fast reader so I found the audio-book on Audible and it was a great way to complete the book. The book is filled with steps to exercise faith. The book compares strong faith to someone who would run a marathon. Continuous deliberate training is required for both. The book has many great stories and lessons for training oneself to be more holy. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to take faith to the next level. I have already listened twice and will do it many times again. My pastor said he has read the book about once a year for many years, and I plan to do the same.
The suggestions on how to intentionally find time daily to grow closer to God.
I have not listen to any others, but this one is great.
Yes I did cry several times during the listening because some of the stories are similar to mine. It was good crying though.
Find time to listen to this book without distractions. I was working a night stock shift and was able to listen to the whole book in one shift for the first time and that was great.
