Ancient wisdom read brilliantly
There is really no reason why you should not buy this audiobook and listen to it all the time. Stephen Mitchell's voice is only second to my grandmother in soothing voices speaking to me, and my grandma has a lovely voice. That's not to say Stephen has an old person's voice, but rather it's calm, collected, wise. He has obviously spent much time reading and learning and thinking about the Tao Te Ching and I appreciate the fuck out of that about him. This book has taught me too much about life, this review does NOT do it just. Such an EASY listen/read yet the words are so thought provoking it's insane.
