I love this audio Bible.
I love this audio Bible. I can rewind it, slow it down, speed it up, mull over a specific passage as many times as I want. I let it play sometimes as I'm going to bed. The narrator's voice is wonderful. I sleep so peacefully. It's a must get, and a must listen.😀👍

Finally!!! Hallelujah!!!
I've had this audio book now for 2 years, and today, finally, they've added book and chapter names! Before today, every chapter had a number so I had to keep a separate log mapping chapter 1 of each book of the Bible to its corresponding number, a very time consuming task.

Less than hoped for.
Narrator is always “sing-songy”, has the same cadence and vocal inflection regardless of content. Also it started out easy to navigate, but switched to chapters changing mid track. Hoped for better overall.

Spoken word soothes the brains distractions
Spoken well enjoyable to listen to but having difficulty in finding book chapter verse. Just have not become acquainted with system in which it is organized. I am sure over time I will get accustomed. My first audio experience and it is great since eyes are beginning to fail.

No Music!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Not possible! It's the Bible!
Any additional comments?
I love Christian movies and stories, but the problem is the melodrama - overacting and the constant music always takes away from the stories. As much as I appreciate actors playing the parts of the Bible characters, the overacting and constant music drives me nuts. This version is great because it's just narrated and at least for me, I'm getting a lot more from the story, able to listen for longer periods, and not getting annoyed by all the background noise.
If you like the acting and music, this isn't the version for you, but if you're like me and just want the story, then this is probably a good version for you.
