Great beginning and story of his recovery. Well written and read.
His discounting others experiences with similar near death experiences near the end of the book, severely detracted from his story, in my opinion.
This story was not what I expected at all. Less about heaven, more about it's effect. It made me think and examine myself and my actions. I really would highly recommend this to anyone. It will be one that I will listen to again and again and I know that each time will reveal something new to me. Thanks Don for being obedient.
It was a wonderful book.
That it was a personal story.
Love the way he told the story.
All the book.
The power of faith in a living God, and the resulting struggle of overcoming a horrible accident.
Heaven, the description, the personal experience.
You can feel his personal struggle at times.
Overcoming the Impossible
Great book would and have recommended it to others.
A book well worth listening to. A true story is always better than fiction and in this case it has a strong message of hope to people who lost loved ones or who suffers from incurable disease.
Great story with a the stuff you are looking for. The book describes Don's time in Heaven as well as the healing he goes through after the accident. This is as much a book about heaven as healing. It gives some great food for thought about your own life.
I like the chapters of Heaven and his description around the event of the accident.
Clear and easy to listen to.
Not much about heaven,a book about recovery expected more details about heaven and hence was dissapointed
I expected to hear wonderful things of heaven and angelic stories when 90% of the book is about the authors pain and hospital stay. Would not recommend
You can feel the truthfulness to the story. It is consistent with my religions view of heaven. However, its written very poorly with repetitive language.
Very wordy about details of an accident and his recovery, and very little about what he learned from his voyage to and back from heaven.
I kept waiting for it to make a point and make some assertions about the meaning of life, his mission in life, etc. It just said how he traveled and had a hard recovery.
Seemed highly affected and intentionally dramatic. The accident was horrible and hi recovery were torturous, but the book says its about the 90 minutes in heaven, and it really only a little about that, and mostly about his recovery.
He describes beautiful things in heaven, but makes no conclusions about what they all mean.
