Very interesting book
This is the second book and was more interesting than the first, which was slow. Many new characters. Some parts were a bit confusing but I continued on. Worth reading.

One of the best stories
I read or listen to a lot of stories. This was a great story that didn’t get bogged down in adding extra words and unnecessary details just to make the story longer. The reader doesn’t have many female voices, thankfully Bleak’s voice stops being so aweful after awhile. I wish there was a different narrator, but I do enjoy her voice for Fiore.

Such a great epic
OMG, I could not stop listening!! I had to know all! It was as action packed through out this book and revelation after revelation. I cried with happiness was filled with frustration and anger sometimes at the characters. Even sadness at losses. Lol. It’s so good. And of course there is going to be another, I just .hope that book doesn’t take too long.

omg that cliff hanger .....
ok need the next book like now..... bleak is amazing I'm glad she has found most of herself. Henry is a bad ass warrior ..... but wow that cliff hanger got me like really that just happened.... were is book 3 when you need it I need to know what happens.

Be wary
Don’t start this series unless you’re ready to lay on your back and make pterodactyl noises at the ceiling a lot. It’s compelling, clever, emotional, and frankly addictive. It’ll take a melon baller to your gut more times than you’ll care to admit and smack you square in the face when you’re not expecting it.
But, most of all, you’ll get dragged in. The truth of it all, the incredible and artful way the world is built and the honest and diverse characters are incredible.
Highly recommend. HIGHLY.
