Oh Tobias ❤️

The last 45 minutes of this book is frustrating but in a good way. Chaos is happening and I found myself yelling at the characters to do certain things to be safe. The majority of this book is Toby making up for royally screwing up but also healing himself. He is so broken and it’s so sad that you can’t really be mad at him. James Joseph is seriously the master of voice manipulation. His tone, dialogue and whatever other aspects to creating a consistent body of character voices is brilliant. I love the scenes where it’s the 5 guys bc you truly get to hear his talent at work. It’s just so seriously amazing. And it’s consistent too. Characters from past books sound the same as well which is completely impressive. Stella is of course brilliant as well and is also a master at voice manipulation but James just blows me away.

I only have one question, what happened to Sara?! He never went back for her!

Heart Pounding

Once again Tracy Lorraine leaves us trembling with a HUGE cliffhanger. My emotions have been all over the place. Being angry, disappointed, heartbroken, laughing, satisfied, and devastated. All mixed throughout the book. This has been a great second book for Toby and Jodi. The best part of TL's writing is the world she has created with all the characters. I'm so invested. I think Toby is my favorite. I cannot wait for the next book!

James Joseph and Stella Hunter are excellent narrators. They bring this audiobook to life with emotional performances. Perfection.
