Publisher's summary

With brand new material exclusive to this Updated American Edition, here - in his own words - is the story of the newest member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship Hall of Fame, Britain's own Rocky Balboa, Michael Bisping.

Featuring an entirely new chapter for US readers, the story of his induction into the UFC Hall of Fame, fresh insights about his fighting career, never-before-told stories about his film and TV career, and a harrowing account of his fighting off attempted kidnappers while filming in South Africa, Quitters Never Win tells the incredible story of how he went from rough and humble beginnings and then on to a legendary mixed martial arts career capped by winning the Middleweight Championship in one of the greatest upsets in UFC history.

Loaded with the humor and brutal honesty that first won him a following on the television show Ultimate Fighter 3, Bisping recounts his record setting 13-year fight career battling the likes of Anderson Silva, Georges St-Pierre, and Dan Henderson.

The most engaging UFC color analyst in recent memory, and a budding film and television star, Bisping tells his story in a way that only he knows how.

Great story of a UFC pioneer

Didn't really care for the narrator and wish Bisping would have went more in depth of his struggles growing up. Quite a bit of "fast forwarding" and might have used the word "literally" a bit too much 😉

Great story about a the rise of a champion

Loved the book. Michael Bisping rise from humble beginnings through sheer will as much as athletic ability and martial arts skill to become aUFC champion. A feat made specially impressive because of the different challenges physical and emotional he had to face in his career. A great read and humorous at times but it would have been nice to hear it in Bisping's own voice instead of an actor. His character and personality come across though and make this worthwhile and impacting.

Great Book but just it was missing Micheal Bisping voice

The book is amazing especially when you also have the hard copy . The details of Micheal life are not only motivational but also encouraging . Weather you are you an MMA fan or not this is a autobiography will help you regain your focus no matter the situation you are in . The only thing missing is Michael Bisping himself certain phrases, certain events, would have been told or delivered differently . If you have ever heard him on “The Believe You Me “ podcast his personality and humor gives it more life . This book either in audio form or the physical copy is a must to check out .

The Count in All His Glory

As a huge MMA fan, this book has been the best MMA biography I've read/listened to. Michael gives an insight into his life and how he came to be one of the great pioneers for the sport and UFC. His book holds back zero punches when it comes to: behind the scene conversations, injuries, personal struggles, and Vitor Belfort.

He may come off as a cocky, arrogant Brit in the cage to hype up fights as the villan, but this book shows 1) more of that side 2) the why behind that side, and 3) him as a man, husband, father, friend, and human being.

This is a great story and I consider myself an even bigger Bisping fan now... often getting emotional as he describes the emotional events as though you were standing in his shoes!

It is still a 5 Star review, but I believe I would have enjoyed it more so if he would have narrated it himself, however the narrator does an amazing job!

Great

Great book! Definitely teared up more than I'd like to admit. Felt like I was in the arena with him, chest swelling with pride. The walk through the dark arena with battle scars like a gladiator who had been freed, the pride for his country that he shows after each fight, love for his family and fans, and many more. Good stuff Mike!

Good Book

Bisping's story is a good one. I think this would have been a 5 star review if Bisping himself had read the audiobook. The narrator does a decent job but lacks the passion & emotion that Bisping would have brought.
