Still love this series

I've listened to this series multiple times and still love it. I love this RH.

I’m totally in love with this series. Can’t wait for the next books to come out!

I love this series but hate the cliffhangers!

Its hard to find really good books that keep you entertained for hourse or even days but this series is definitely one that does.
I just wish the Author would put all of the books out altogether so we didn't have to wait months to listen to them.
The female narrator sounds a bit to young for this book but she is good. She doesn't have serious annoying voice nacks kike many narrators do.
Cannot wait for the eesr of this series to come out.

truly amazing book

This tells the story of Shara Isador and her showdown with Marne Ceresa, queen of rome. It starts where Queen takes Checkmate ended. Listening in order is required. I love this story to pieces and would highly recommend this book. Tristan and Cassandra do an amazing job in bringing the story to life. Very well done!

I absolutely adore this series

I just wish it constantly was more being recorded and released faster not if the content isn’t going to be the same amount of greatness thank you again Ms.burkhart keep it coming love both narrators from book 1 on absolutely perfeft!!!!

Holy f***!! That was incredible!!

I don't even know where to start. This series was just amazing. It had just the right amount of spice with an incredible storyline. I was hooked from book 1. The narrators both did an amazing job and even performed various accents extremely well. 5 stars all the way. Definitely recommend.

The only series that jus shouldn't end

I LOVE this series with Shara. I know the author has other books with the other queens, but there can only be one, seriously. the ending was great but I really wanted more time with her last blood, He just got introduced right at the end of the story which is kind of a cruel tease there. Although I can honestly say I was very much so satisfied with ALL of the volumes, which is no easy thing, because I can be picky. Especially when I run into the "weak female" style characters in novels. Of which is far from true in this tale of perfection. I only hope the there will be more stories with just Shara, that would be above awesome.

Love this series!!

I adore this series and the female narrator. I really don’t like the way the male narrator does his thing though. His female voices are all breathy and weird. His male voices are super dramatic and don’t fit the story.

Disappointed

There is no real ending just the promise of spin off books. This was by far the weakest book. After devouring the previous 5 books, this book was insanely a waste of my time. I felt 100% confused when it ended with a “she won”.... there is nothing that pisses me off more than an author saying in the post book that this was the final story of this series but “don’t worry there are other spin offs coming soon”. Like, no, give us the ending we, your devoted readers deserve if you are not going to tie things up. It pisses me off that instead of coming up with an ending , or writing another book, she uses it as a platform for her other books!!! As much as I want to give her one star and continue on scathingly writing about how displeased I am, with her the author, it is what it is. Aside from the no real ending, I did have to draw the line at the fact the female character was able to borrow her blood’s Phoenix “peen” to f-her bloods. I’m completely open minded to all the other themes of this book series, but when she created her own peen I caught myself muttering that this was pretty dumb. Wasn’t into it. The whole enticement is that the main character is a female and comes “into her own” and reveling in her femininity, her creating this whole “ I can change my genitals whenever ” just didn’t fit with this character, it felt like the author kept reaching in order to keep the sex scenes diverse. It just made it dumb. Again not the best book and a huge disappointment
