Angels just wanna have fun!

What a breath of fresh air! I love, love, love the three main characters in this new series!

Emerald, “Emmy”, Jade, and Chloe are unique creatures in heaven in that they are the only angels to have been conceived by their angel parents while their parents were visiting the earthly realm. Not quite Angels, but still otherworldly beings.

Heaven decides to give them a chance at “getting their wings” by sending them to live among humans, as since they were conceived on Earth, they can live among humans as angels and go unnoticed as such. Their assignment is to use their special gifts to help those in need. Sent to Angel Bay, the girls reopen a gift shop full of tokens and elixirs to help out anyone in need. Soon they find out the town needs more than a little help. Can they trust the local witch, Eve? What about the hot guy on a Harley, Zane?

Can’t wait to read what happens next in book 2!

Good Read

Practically Angels (Angel Bay Mysteries #1) was a good read by Melanie James. Every young angel dreams of earning their wings and serving in the Bureau of Angels. But for Emmy Morrissey, she and a couple others aren’t like the rest. Even as misfits, there’s a plan for them. They get a brief training and then are given a secret mission. They must run a beachside gift shop in Angel Bay. They are also the guardians of the town. They find out that Angel Bay is ground zero for the paranormal and find themselves up to their necks in supernatural mischief. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

Excellent

Emmy and a few others seem like misfits as for the role of an Angel. The plot is full of mayhem with the assignment they were to do. Enjoyable with plenty of humor. Start of a good series. Given audio for my voluntary review and review

Amateur Sleuths

This is a cute story about what its like to feel like an outcast only to discover you’re not as different as you think! Emmy meets two other young ladies her age who she’s mandated to run a gift shop with in a town full of paranormals. Emmy and her two friends are quirky, terrible at keeping secrets, and can’t investigate to save their souls! Nicole Merrin is a new narrator to me, but her performance is wonderful. She has a melodious voice and brings a wide range of emotions to the storyline. This was an enjoyable listening experience.

Practically Angels

Melanie James has created another fantastic series! I absolutely lover her paranormal books. They are fun, full of whit and unique characters that will have you lol. I loved the goat part! The narration was fantastic! Nicole Merton is new to me and she did an amazing job! I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Great Start to a New Series

Angels sent to earth for the first time to help people. Love the idea! I can see how the series could be very entertaining. The girls and their shenanigans come off more like witches, but it’s still all good fun.

Delightful, Devilish and Laugh Out Loud Fun!

Emmy, Chloe and Jade are heavenly angels trying to earn their wings. Uniquely qualified, they are sent to earth by the Bureau of Angels to get to the bottom of the mysterious goings on at Angels Bay. I can’t reveal their unique qualification without engaging in spoilers, so suffice to say that what ensues is an uproariously funny and imaginative story filled with witty dialogue, romance and laugh out loud “whatever can go wrong does go wrong” moments that kept me interested and engaged from beginning to end! There are not enough stars in the world for this one! Fabulous, fantastic fun with knockout narration! Thank you Melanie James!
