Ehhh...
It's ok I guess. I love the premise of backcountry survival in a thriller and that's about all that kept me listening. MC felt kind of like a Mary Sue. She always knows what to do when everyone around her is clueless. The Author does a good job of helping you picture the Alaska backcountry in your mind which made it worth continuing for me. As long as you don't mind listening to the story push "conservationist" anti-hunting/anti-fossil fuel viewpoints. If that's what you believe, I can respect it. It's just that I listened to this book for a survival and adventure story, not to get preached at like I'm at a fundraiser. I wonder if the author's disaster survival books push the same agenda or if it was just this one. Sadly I don't care enough to listen to them and find out.
