Publisher's summary

Welcome to Breakbattle Academy.

The first school of its kind, where survival of the fittest is not a saying, it's your reality.

Ruled by those who are elite in name, beauty, and cunning, Breakbattle takes the war of the classes to a whole new level.

The next four years of my life will be a fight the likes of which I can't yet comprehend, but first, I have to survive orientation week.

The Elite Class has plans for me. They will test me until I break, but there is nowhere for me to run.

Secrets and lies lurk beneath the made-up facade, and I don't mean Breakbattle.

I mean me.

There is something that I have to do. There is someone that I'm after. He doesn't know that I'm coming. He doesn't know who I am. But nothing will stop me from seeing my plans through.

Not my family. Not the Elite Class. Not the pesky fact that I'm a girl.

Breakbattle's all-boys campus is getting a new student. Don't call me Zela.

Call me Zeke.

Orientation Week is a contemporary reverse-harem high-school bully romance. This is the prequel and features language, dark themes, and sexual scenes. If you're cool with that, dive in!

Amazing. Give this a try. Highly Recommend

This book is the intro to the next 4 years. I’m so stoked because I have no idea what Zela/Zeke endgame is here and I’m not even gonna try and guess. One thing I learned is that Ruby loves leaving you on the edge and slowly pulling you back.
Every book I’ve tried has been amazing. I do RECOMMEND READING EVERGREEN ACADEMY & SOMESET UNIVERSITY before starting this. Adam Moon is a teenager in this book and the bff so knowing more of his back story is good. Plus this school dynamics takes place because of what occurred at Evergreen Academy. & it’s a really great series. The first I ever read from her and I’ve been obsessed since.

So far so good!

How refreshing! Vincent is a master of writing intrigue and angst filled stories with well defined characters.

Before I go on, I should clarify that I like the dark and dirty HS bully and mafia series like most red blooded females.

But… I was recently reminded (when listening to the Evergreen Academy series) that a compelling story, well defined characters, and great narration can be just as entertaining without all the over the top violence and sex.

Yes, there is some language and there’ll be some sex scenes in Vincent’s work, but they aren’t gratuitous or necessary to keep you engaged. The story and writing are enough all on their own.

What a orientation!

This is a great story, it follows a girl on a mission to attend the ultimate elitist school. This is a slower burn, but that's good, I like how the story develops, nice natural flow. It's narrated by Jillian Yetter, who does a amazing job. She has a wonderful voice, but she mimics fun teen boy voice too. I would listen to more books read by Jillian Yetter.

great slow burn lots of story very light bully

I really enjoyed the story there's a great mystery. And a great twist on high school bully romances I would say it's very light fleeing and it's more about the story of how the school works but I've never read a book about how School works like this with this battle system. main character just going to disguise as a guy. even though there are girls at the school their genders are separated and she goes telling her mom she wants to prove that's why that's unnecessary. However she's really going because she's there to be around a particular student why I can't tell you you'll have to read but she has motivations and a particular student that she is looking for for a reason. Along the way she meets Adam her roommate who becomes her roommate who her best friend who is from the Evergreen series highly recommend that series if you haven't read it that one's a little bit of a darker holy romance I would say that this is a lot lighter. but we do see characters from that in this one working at the school the series takes place years later when Adam is grown enough to be in high school. the RH aspect goes I would say this is a Slow Burn there's so much great plot a mystery and story it doesn't rush things that takes its time and it's a really enjoyable unique Read. the great mystery and secret society plot as well as a mystery regarding our main characters family and why she's really at the school.

Cool gender swap story

Awesome story, can't wait to see what happens next. I don't normally listen to books, but this was great for a long drive.
