“Readers will be delighted.” (Publishers Weekly starred review on One More for Christmas)

From the USA Today best-selling author of The Christmas Sisters and A Wedding in December comes this sparkling tale of Christmas redemption....

For sisters Samantha and Ella Mitchell, Christmas is their most precious time of the year. But this year, they’ll be buying presents for the most unexpected guest of all - their mother. It’s been five years since they last saw each other. But when their mom calls out of the blue, Samantha and Ella cautiously agree to spend Christmas all together in the beautiful Scottish Highlands....

Gayle Mitchell is at the top of her career, but her success has come at a price - her relationship with her daughters. Her tough-love approach to parenting was designed to make them stronger, but instead managed to push them away...until a brush with her own mortality forces Gayle to make amends.

As the snowflakes fall on their first family celebration in years, the Mitchell women must learn that sometimes facing up to the past is all you need to heal your heart....

Don't miss Beach House Summer, the ultimate beach read by USA Today best-selling author Sarah Morgan! One woman forges the most unlikely friendship of all, and embarks on a summer of confronting her past in order to build the future she wants.

Flawed narrator

Lucy Tregear is clearly British and wasn’t able to pull off an American accent. She consistently pronounced “daughter,” for example, as “dawdah,” which is very irritating in a story about multiple daughters! She slipped into a British accent often, which was also jarring in a story about Americans, even when they were in Scotland. Her Scots accent was passable though, which was a relief.

One More for Christmas

I actually loved this audiobook. The mother and sister and Samantha😁 they all went to Scotland to visit with Brody. And I loved, that Brody made love to Samantha😁 in his cabin. And then, he made love with Samantha 😁 and Brody drinking champagne and having sex. I actually love this audiobook. It started out kind of wrong, but I truly loved it at the end.

Cannot Finish

I am on the second chapter and I just can’t get into this book. It is dull and hard to get into. Most of all, the British accent of the narrator is very off putting. Not at all like fairly young American women. I’m sure she’s doing a great job of reading but does not represent the personalities of the characters.

I’m stopping and moving on to my next book.
