Publisher's summary

The thrilling conclusion of Robert W. Ross’ best selling Paradigm 2045 trilogy!

Bladerunner and a grievously wounded Charlotte Omandi have escaped from Drac’ath, while also having assured Earth’s survival, by gaining its admission into the Galactic Confederation.

Omandi and her crew regroup with their Phadex allies on the hidden refuge planet, Rulia. While there, a long awaited message is unlocked and delivered by Rulia’s lost founder, Talus. It sets off a string of unlikely events that brings Charlotte into a shadowy world of assassins. Meanwhile, Linnea Sorenson travels to the legendary planet Aluria, where strange magics are rumored to exist...magics that can only be unlocked by the young telepath.

Rejoin Charlotte and all your favorites as they seek new allies including the enigmatic Leas-ceyln Mott, an Eridani so feared, the Elevated would commit planetary genocide rather than allow her free reign.

Throughout it all, Omandi struggles to stay true to her ideals, even as the entire Galaxy seems bent on Humanity’s destruction. In the midst of such trials and tribulations, she must also contend with Thomas Rogers, the young half-human, half-Eridani, who has awoken something in Charlotte she never thought to find among the stars.

As the Paradigm 2045 saga hurtles toward its exciting conclusion, it becomes clear to everyone aboard the Bladerunner, that their ultimate success may rest with…Omandi’s Daemon.

Just when you think it can’t get any better

Great job Robert & Nick!!!!!!
Robert you create characters that are deep, fun, honorable, adventurous and humorous, Nick you breathe life into these characters with your consistently excellent narration. Neither of these tasks are easy especially hitting a bullseye time after time with every book of the series. Bravo, I can’t wait for the next one and I highly recommend to anyone looking for something much more than an average experience.

Loved this series!

I wish I could go back and start this series again. It is wonderful space opera with great world building and character development. It kept my attention and interest all the way through the series. I cannot wait to see what comes next in the Paradigm world and will listen to the Sentinel series to bide that time. Don’t let me down, Robert W. Ross!! And thank you!

Can't wait for what's to come!

I very much enjoyed this book! Although I haven't read Sentinels of Creation, I knew enough about the existence of the series to notice and appreciate the nods to the series. I'm in love with this series and it's characters and Im looking forward to what comes next!

Laughter, tears, and heartfelt moments

Another amazing book in this trilogy! I kinda don’t want to call it a trilogy because I want more!!! Following these characters through such interesting trials has seriously kept me up at night! Hahaha! I don’t want to stop listening and now that I’ve reached the end of Book 3, I need more!!! Excellent narration by the fantabulous Nick Podehl. I’m so invested in these characters and I feel that the voice Nick put to each character is a major part of the excellence!

Great Story. Even Greater Ending!!

Great Story. Even Greater Ending!

All stories deserve an ending. Great stories deserve great endings, and, oh wow, did Robert Ross deliver with Omandi’s Daemon. I read the print version while waiting for the audiobook to be released, and I’m so glad I did.

The audiobook, and Nick Podehl’s performance, adds another whole layer of amazingness to the story. I know he and Robert collaborate closely on these projects. It clearly shows with this story, and I’d love to ask Nick whether the tears I heard toward the end were real. I think they were, but then again they could have been mine. The last two chapters of this book were just heartbreakingly good.

So what did I like about this installment? Each of the characters gets their moment to shine and grow. It’s hard to describe just how much happens in this book. There is action, subterfuge, diplomacy, and even romance. With all that, the pacing is still fantastic, never seeming to get bogged down in minutia.

Best of all for me, Ross goes beyond crossover winks and nods with this book. The concluding book of his Sentinels of Creation series snaps directly into the epilogue of Omandi’s Daemon, just twenty years or so after Sentinels ends.

Clearly the author plans to start an entirely new series in this, now shared, universe. No spoilers about who survives to boldly go into the multiverse, but I, for one, cannot wait.

Kudos Mr. Ross. Five Stars, sir, and well earned!

An excellent conclusion

I laughed, I cried, I was moved.

One important thing, of you're reading his Sentimels series this one has... kind of spoilers? Edit: definitely spoilers. Eough that it kind of made me sad I didn't finish the last book of that series first. Made the end of that book less. I would strongly recommend finishing that series first.

This book felt just a little long. There was a fair bit of added moments to help character development, especially with each other, that was important and needed to sell those feelings from things that happen, but it did make things drag just a touch in spots for it. It's a tough needle to thread, development vs pacing, and Ross normally is perfect with it, but to keep this arc to 3 books you can feel it. Still overall brilliant though, and if you're someone that likes more regardless it's an easy 5 stars.

Omandi is still one of my all time favourite characters.

Sad that it’s over; happy it’s just begun

Brilliant both in story and execution. The crossover is subtle and poignant. Can’t wait to read more from Ross.
