Publisher's summary

Explore! Level up! Take over an entire planet, and take out anyone that gets in your way!

Against all odds, Val and his men have survived a savage assault initiated by a ruthless foe. But Val was forced to pay a steep price after taking out the enemy commander, a retributive curse that has every living Jordian eager to claim his scalp, including his own allies!

Only Julia, a Terran half-blood like him, is immune, and there is only one way to break the curse.

They have to charge into enemy territory, sneak past countless troops, and somehow defeat an entire clan of Highlords hungry for their heads.

For Val, it’s not just about survival.

It’s about revenge.

He is determined to take out the bastards who thought they could enslave his entire planet under the guise of a virtual reality game. And what better way to accomplish this than by seizing control of the very world spearheading the invasion of Earth!

Val better act fast, using strategies no one ever sees coming, because the entire corrupt council of Jordian Highlords will stop at nothing to destroy the Terran gamer who dares to walk the Path of Kings!

good book

I love the series, I love the this book but f**k you. for that heart wrenching twisting turning that this book is. most Authors is clear that the hero's gonna win. but yours story Oblivion is only A breath away. I love that I can't put them down my phone I need to listen it always through. But you did such a great job on your characters that's I have feelings when you mess with them that's the reason why I say f**I you.

Was slow to get into this one but great!

I thought that it was slow to start off, but afterwards it got really good. I'm not too sure how I like the main character going down the dark park he is on, but I'm hopeful he will overcome it!

Going Strong

The series is still on a great arc. I like the buildup so far from a player to world builder. it really is a great accomplishment for a first series. keep them coming!

Wow, that's a big book.

Valor Hunter and associates have a nail biting adventure across the world. He's bent, folded, blown up, stabbed, and other varieties of riding the edge of oblivion. Good thing he has a high regen stat (not quite as good as Deadpool). Ok, I was the one doing the nail biting (even though I'd heard it before). Wayne Mitchell and Lisa Aust bring a wonderful cast of voices to the audio book. I do get a kick every time one of the people in his parties comments when the "universe" snarks at Val during system messages. It's a great ride. Unfortunately I think I've run out of audiobooks. If you're reading this you likely know it's a great space opera and a lot of fun. The author's other series are great too. Peace. Val is the master of blowing sh*t up!

Awwwwsome

This is truly one of the best series I've heard so far. I like the way the author mixes rpg rules and reality.
