A state away Kelly and Randy have no problem breaking rules and would gladly take a running leap onto a slippery slope to save their girls from the clutches of the brotherhood. For reasons they have a hard time understanding that group of thugs just keeps throwing resources at trying to capture them.

Getting Better
Either the author and narrator are finally finding their groove or I'm just getting used to the styles. It's getting better overall. I've gotten through this far and plan to keep going so it must be working!

Won’t continue
Wished I hadn’t gotten this one. Series started out good but has turned into something unreadable for me. Book runs along two different storylines. the first survivor group, finally killed off the last person with any skills, and now it’s just a Mom and Dad (who had no survival skills prior to the apocalypse) with 5 daughters under 18. No way all people in the group with weapons and military skill would perish and these remain. The other story is a the teenager who was a scout, infiltrating the bad guys. I skipped that throughout the book, as it, again, was crazy how this kid out survives all the bad guy ex military. Definitely will not continue.
