This will educate you on the life. This is old as time and will never go away. It's great that she speaks out and informs others.

Standing Ovation! Valuable Information!

Most survivors of Sex Trafficking are so traumatized and stigmatized they cannot find their own voice, inside a place where they never had a voice. It is a monumental feat that this survivor was able to bear witness to the oppression and brutality of "the life".The reader is taken into the mindset of a homeless child on the streets becoming fair game, hunted, exploited, and tortured with sadistic disregard. Not only by a sexual predator, which sex traffickers are but by the society around her which took advantage of that misery. This happens every single day all across America. These homeless children become fair game for sex traffickers, rapists, sexual predators and child abusers. This is America's greatest shame. And the victims are victimized repeatedly for the rest of their lives as they try to move out from under the oppression. Because they are so stigmatized, the people that use and abuse them get away with the crimes as no one dare come forward to bear witness. Barbara Amaya brings this reality into mainstream America to enlighten others so we can take responsibility for these children and disenfranchised women. And hold the criminals that prey on their misery accountable.

She is amazing

As a social worker I’m not unfamiliar with the victims of sexual exploitation but this story is very well written. I truly think it’s a story that would benefit every human to listen to. There are so many children and young people being victimized, and yet people still refuse to believe and have no idea when it’s staring them in the face.
She is such a brave woman and her heart is gold. Definitely read to hear a real story. A terribly difficult life that by far doesn’t dig as deep as needed but that would be years worth of writing. Props to her abs what she’s become in life.
