Dark with plenty of triggers

This is so different than any previous book I’ve read by this author. This is a dark story with a lot of twists and turns. Can a demon fall in love. This is not a soft hearted romance. I wish it had more background on the characters but I enjoyed the story. The narration by Weston East made the characters real.

A Dark and Intense Romance!

I have to tell you that this story starts out with a short gruesome prelude... but then you meet Tyler the Demon Detective and Noble the sweet special guy who reels him in! Having not read this as a book I could not stop listening! Everything about this story was so dark, gritty and suspenseful, but somehow you love both these guys and NEED to know what happens! Steamy hot sexual chemistry with some sweetness hidden in there! This narrator did a fantastic job of switching between voices for these two very different guys! He brought out Noble's sweet innocence and Tyler's dark sexual prowess! I did listen to this at a speed up at 1.5x which really worked with the pace and atmosphere of the book! If you enjoy a dark, erotic and original tale I highly recommend!

loved it

I loved this book. Weston East voice really brings this story to life and some parts are very creepy. Noble Warwick is saved by Detective Walker and he owes him. Noble agrees to a date with Walker to thank him for saving him from a man who almost killed him. Detective Abraham Walker aka as Tyler is not what he seems. The relationship moves quickly and Noble wants to see the best in Tyler. What if Tyler's secret is more dangerous than Noble thinks?

I'd listen again!

This was a pretty tight little Jekyll/Hyde retelling that doesn't describe itself as that but definitely delivers it. Don't get hung up on the initial unfortunate low-production quality - I'm glad I stuck that out because the voice acting was much better than I anticipated from that rocky start, and the story itself was excellent. I absolutely recommend!

twisted love

I previously read this, but hearing the narration brings it to another level and makes the story so much more impactful. Tyler was almost as much a victim as the people Abe took his wrath out on. Noble was a very special person doing all his charity/ humanity work, and then to accept "ALL" of Tyler. Speechless. Tyler's inner battles and struggles humanized him more for me and won me over. The compromises for love are not as important as the unselfish love itself. Mindblowing epilogue with an hea. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life. The voices fit this story like a glove. Perfect.

This story is definitely not your sweet and sappy love story. Tyler is not your typical demon and the man he resides in may be scarier than the demon himself. When Tyler and Noble’s worlds cross the sparks fly. Right from the start there is an attraction between the two, but Tyler knows he should stay away and keep Noble safe. Yet neither man can seem to ignore what begins between the two. There is only one problem; Abe is not willing to stay locked away while Tyler has all the fun. As the two fight it out Noble is caught in the crossfire. I enjoyed Tyler and Noble’s story. The two men endeared themselves to this listener and I enjoyed the way their relationship develops. Their story is not only hot, but it is also full of emotions. It may be on the shorter side, but it has a lot to say. Narrator Weston East does a good job of pulling you into the story and feeling the characters emotions. I was quickly immersed in the story and engaged all the way to the end.

Excellent premise and fantastic narrator!

Have you ever wondered about the early works of Shakespeare, Poe, Koontz and Hamilton, me too. The premise of the story is unique and intriguing. But the author still needs to polish up their writing. The characters are fun and engaging and the narrator has an amazing voice. So if your looking for a creepy horror story with a gay subtext, give it a listen. For me I'm moving on to the next title for this writer. There's a ton of raw talent there.

So not the normal genre

It was such a good story but I'm pretty sure I will have nightmares from the description of all the gore. Narration was very good also...now I think I will just sit here awake all night.

Dark and awesome

This is the perfect Halloween story or a story for those who like things more dark and twisted. Tyler is a demin after all and he does trick Abe who's a serial killer into letting him share his body. Noble is so sweet and innocent. Weston East did an amazing job on this.

Suspense and action

What a wonderful book. I liked it quite a bit. The author did not disappoint and the narrator was amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone who likes MM Romance, suspense and mystery.
