A bit far fetched

and slow moving at times, but worth the listen.
Enjoyed the narrator.
Looking forward to more Eve and family.

A Really Good Listen...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I loved this Trilogy! I highly recommend it. This is the 3rd book of this trilogy within the Eve Duncan Series by Iris Johansen and I loved the story and the characters. Narrator, Elisabeth Rogers', character interpretation and performance of characters is very impressive as she performs at least 4 foreign accents (Scottish, Spanish, Russian, and Middle Eastern) and multiple American English accents including a Southern drawl making it very easy to identify character change and maintain interest in the story. I could hardly pull myself away from it.

The story is good on its own but the narrator really brings life to the characters and the story. If you like suspense, mystery, action and/or thrillers with a slight pinch of ghosts, you should check out this Trilogy in order (Shadow Play, Hideaway, and then Night and Day respectively). Although I haven't done so, it is best IF you can read or listen to ALL the Eve Duncan series in order to know the characters as they develop and flow throughout the series but it's not totally necessary for this Trilogy as long as you read the Trilogy in order. As one can tell, I'm a huge fan of the author and narrator and can hardly wait to get started on the next book in the Eve Duncan Series!👍

Night and Day

I enjoy the characters, they are so well described, it feels as if I knew them. That good wins over evel is a big plus.

Love the story. Hate the narration.

Good story line. Elisabeth Rogers fake southern accent is TERRIBLE! It's as if she got it from Gone with the Wind. Kinda makes those parts a little unbearable to listen to.

Another Amazing Eve novel!

Highly recommended, probably one of my favorites, but I haven't listened to them all. But I've listened to a good many!
