Very helpful audiobook!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
In this audiobook you will not only to learn how to prepare natural detergents and save money, but it will teach you how to get a stain out, clean your clothes and avoid all of the terrible chemicals that we live with every day. The process of making a natural detergent can be quite interesting and I personally enjoy doing it. This is a step-by-step, very well written audiobook, and in-depth for this subject. Narration is also crystal clear and understandable which is very important to me because I am not a native English. 5 stars!

Very useful information
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would definitely recommend this book to my friends. It explains what all the chemicals in "normal" detergents are and how/why they're harmful. Then it offers a bunch of great recipes for natural detergent and stain removers (and they WORK!).
What insight do you think you’ll apply from Natural Laundry Detergent: DIY Organic Laundry Detergent Recipes to Clean Better & Save Money?
I'll probably use the recipes more than anything. The information on cleaning better and saving money is useful but I know I'll come back to this book for the recipes again and again.

Our family found this a great book - it helped us save money and gave us a bit of peace in mind that we were no longer harming ourselves or the environment with dangerous unnecessary chemicals.

Amazing Recipes and Insight!!!
I wasn't sure how much I'd enjoy an audiobook with natural detergent recipes, but this was awesome! The narrator's tine was perfect and Kate Anderson put the text together in such a clear, concise way, I don't have a single complaint!
The book starts off by issuing gentle warnings and reminders about some of the toxins that are present in many households products (even those labeled as organic and safe!) and makes a solod claim for doing it yourself when it comes to making detergents and such.
The recipes are great and most of them only include a few ingredients! That was a REAL plus. But don't get this one only for the recipes or you could just as easily buy the book. Get this one also for the tips and insight. Listening via audiobook makes that much easier on the go. But, I think I'm gonna buy the book as well!

Some Great Knowledge
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, it really is an eye opener. We forget how far we have gone from the natural and how much we have forgotten and now over reliant upon products that our completely bad for us and the environment. This audio book shows us how we can go back to making things ourselves which are just as effective but less damaging to our bodies and the environment
What did you like best about this story?
The part where you discover that unscented detergents are the same as scented ones but the scent is to disguise the base scent so its not really unscented
What about Kristy Jo Winkler’s performance did you like?
Her voice is soothing and confident giving you great confidence in the knowledge, advice and ways to make your cleaning process more natural.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I tried but need two tries and some rewinds to ensure I understood and knew what to do to note the recipes to make my live more natural

Gets to the point, no fuss, saves money!
Any additional comments?
Second book I have purchased by this author and again very very helpful - short, but that is reflected by the cheap price and sometimes short is best as it means you get to the point very quickly without any fuss or surplus information. 5/5 for this one.

Earth Friendly and Cost Effective
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes I would. I love protecting the environment,my family and save on money. In the same way, I would be pleasured to see my friends do the same. Am sure this book holds all the insight they require to join my path.
What did you like best about this story?
The ideas shared by the author that have enabled me to conserve the environment, protect my family and know what to look for in labels.
Have you listened to any of Kristy Jo Winkler’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, this was the first one. I therefore can't compare this performance with another one. However, I liked the narration, the smooth voice, the guided pace and engaging tone.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I did not cry, and did't laugh either. However, I felt so much informed in such a small time and realized there is much happening around me that I didn't know.
Any additional comments?
I regard protecting the environment and the world at large as my obligation. Whenever I come across any idea helping me achieve this, I always like taking it along with me. That’s what drove me into buying this book. Sure enough, the book have been worth the few dollars. The book has enabled me to understand about fragrances, brighteners and dry cleaning. I no longer buy a detergent just because of its labels and such, I have learnt what to look out for and assess whether it will be safe for my family as well as save my money. Additionally, I am now able to make my own detergents using the simple recipes given and ingredients that are simple to get.
Since reading this book, I have tried various detergents and stain removers which have actually confirmed that all the information in the book is true to the word. The book is an eye-opener with amazing advice that you shouldn’t miss. Highly Recommend!

Earth friendly laundry recipes
I was excited about this book because I've been trying to make my home earth-friendly. I've used standard vinegar and baking soda for cleaning and now I'm learning about laundry products that are affordable and don't contain heaps of harmful chemicals. I've been line drying clothes when the weather is cooperative but I use a tumble dryer, too.
I had no idea that so many "natural" products had the same ingredients as standard products. These chemicals can cause skin irritation or leave residue on clothes that rubs into skin. A pair of dryer balls can be used over and over to soften clothes in the dryer instead of using dryer sheets.
After reading this book I'm ready to try some different laundry detergent alternatives and stain removers. They're easy to make with ingredients found in any household. The author encourages you to try small batches until you find what works for you - great advice!
Highly recommend!
