But then the cottage next door is sold, and she discovers who her new neighbor is.

Chase, the only boy in the family, has never been serious about anyone before. But he's suddenly withdrawn and has been secretive about who he's seeing, which only makes everyone that much more curious. When they learn who it is, the concern grows as no one wants to see Chase hurt, again.

Lisa's best friend, Paige, has a new neighbor too and it's one she is most decidedly not enthused about. Violet was one of the women who stood up at town meeting and protested against Lisa's inn being approved by the selectman. Because the house is right next door, Paige can't help but notice the steady stream of traffic. Violet seems to be very popular with a lot of people.

The inn is doing well and bookings are up, but then one Friday night, a guest that prepaid for the weekend never shows up. And quite a few people, including the police, come asking questions.

Pamela M. Kelley has the most engaging characters in her books about Nantucket Island’s year round residents. This is no exception. A good book to curl up with any time.

Loved it!

The author has a very good imagination and the listenerneverknowswhat'scoming up next! The narrator keeps the listener intrigued.

2nd in series - binge worthy!

I have read the entire Beach Plum Cove series so far and am now binge listening to the audio. A series to enjoy over and over again. Loved this second one, as Pamela expands on the enjoyable characters that feel like family. Love the narrator. She does an excellent job! Easy to listen to.

Lovely story to relax to, nothing complex and quick resolutions, I’m going to get the 3rd in the series.

I enjoyed hanging out with the calm kind characters during these trying times. I'm looking forward to finishing this series.

This series is amazing. I cried in this one Happy but bit sad. I know it seems crazy. This book has you on edge until the end. I do hope Kristin find happiness with this guy. She needs a good man.

Overall, great book. Love the Nantucket stories. I do think the writers should get both female AND male narrators!! Can’t cost that much more!
