Publisher's summary

A second-chance women's fiction saga set in Charleston and Nashville.

Laura Scott grew up in a trailer park. It was just her and her mother and they were happy, even if others looked down at them. When this story begins, Laura is madly in love with her best friend, Cole Dawson, and dreaming of their future. Cole wants a career in country music. They'd planned to marry after graduating college, but an unexpected pregnancy speeds up their timeline.

Dalton Dawson, Cole's father, is a billionaire aiming to be governor. He doesn't approve of Laura or of Cole's interest in music. He wants him to follow in his footsteps and go to law school. When he learns about Laura's pregnancy and their plans to marry soon, he's furious. This will not reflect well on his candidacy.

A fatal car accident changes everything when Dalton takes an action that he thinks will be best for everyone. But actions have consequences. As the years pass, fate takes Laura and Cole in very different directions. Eventually, their paths cross again in Nashville, where their lives are very different from how either of them imagined.

Nashville Dreams is a compelling women's fiction saga. If you like first loves revisited and a love story that plays out over the years, you may enjoy this.

Great Storyline

I loved the storyline but the narrator was reading it to fast in certain parts.

Well……..

I listen to Pamela Kelley books while driving or working in my garden. This narrator sounded SO mechanical. I will avoid books she reads in the future. The book had some holes……..not my favorite. I do normally love her books and don’t expect a lot; this one was weak to me.

Sweet story

Loved this book. it's an intriguing story about two people in love that get torn apart. It's nicely written by Pamela M. Kelley; however, I felt the narration fell short on delivery. The narrator seemed to do fine with voices for the females but I felt her voices for some of the males was a miss and her Southern accent (particularly of the villain Dylan) was hokey which made it sound more cartoonish than believable. But all-in-all, it's a good story that will leave you happy, satisfied and wanting to move onto another Pamela M Kelly book.

Love the story

The narrator sounded more like my gps voice on my phone for the first couple chapters then seems she relaxed and was much better the rest of the book. Loved the story!

So disappointing

The narrator rushes through this to the point that she sounds like fast forward. I tried to listen but could t stand it and quit about 1/3 through. It probably was a decent story but irritating and poorly read.

Not a favorite

I’m usually a fan. I thought the story was far fetched and dull at the same time.
