Publisher's summary

This is my family: Vanished without a trace....

Justin and Libby Denbe have the kind of life you’d find in the pages of a glossy magazine: A beautiful 14-year-old daughter. A gorgeous brownstone on a tree-lined street in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. A great marriage, admired by all. A perfect life.

This is what I know: Pain has a flavor....

When investigator Tessa Leone arrives at the crime scene in the foyer of the Denbes’ home, she finds scuff marks on the floor and a million tiny pieces of bright green Taser confetti. The family appears to have been abducted, with only a pile of their cell phones and electronic devices remaining. No witnesses, no ransom demands, no motive. Just a perfect little family, gone.

This is what I fear: The worst is yet to come....

Tessa knows better than anyone that flawless fronts can hide the darkest secrets. Now she must race against the clock to uncover the Denbes’ innermost dealings, a complex tangle of friendships and betrayal, big business and small sacrifices. Who would want to kidnap such a perfect little family? And how far would such a person be willing to go?

This is the truth: Love, safety, family . . . it’s all touch and go.

Great Book, No doubt about It.

Touch and Go was great. ! It would be helpful for you to read Love You More first, it will give you more background aobut one of the main characters. I have enjoyed all of Lisa Gardner books I have listened to, but this has got to be on of my favorites. Lots of surprizes all the way to the end. Great reader.

An excellent listen!

I really enjoyed this book from the first page on--it grabbed my attention and I had trouble turning it off each time I needed to. The story was well written and plot progression was natural and easy to follow. And the narrator was excellent.

Touch & Go is my first experience with this author--I will definitely look for other books that she has written.

She keeps you guessing.

Just when you think you have things figured out, she pulls the plug and off you go chasing the next suspect. I enjoyed the journey.

One of her best!

Awesome story! Definitely one of her best! Other than Hide, I think this is my favorite. Kept me guessing. Pretty twisted. Great listen, I definitely would come home from the gym and listen in the garage, and while doing dishes, etc. Great listen. I really like the narrator too!

disappointed

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

no. the plot is very similar to that of a movie I watched recently. It lacks originality.

Would you recommend Touch & Go to your friends? Why or why not?

no.the author belabors a failed relationship between the two main characters (husband and wife). this failed relationship becomes the center of the universe for the story. maybe the author was trying to exercise some of her own demons.

Was Touch & Go worth the listening time?

I reluctantly continued to listen to this book but only out my own sense of boredom.
