New York Times best-selling author and former Delta Force commander Dalton Fury (Black Site and Kill Bin Laden) is back with an explosive new thriller.
Former disgraced Delta Force commander Kolt "Racer" Raynor has earned his way back into The Unit after redeeming himself during an explosive operation at a black site in Pakistan. But he is about to face his deadliest challenge yet. The most wanted man in the world, American al Qaeda commander Daoud al Amriki, and his handpicked team of terrorist operatives, have acquired stores of Russian-built, shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles (SAM's) from ex-Libyan spies in Cairo. Their mission: infiltrate the United States and take down American aircraft. The country's best are tasked with stopping them. But when a SEAL Team Six mission to take down al Amriki goes wrong, Major Raynor and his Delta Force team find themselves front and center as Amriki and his terrorists work their way closer to America. And time is running out.
Dramatic and revealing, Tier One Wild takes listeners on an international thrill ride from the black ops nerve center of JSOC to the bloody streets of Cairo in a story only a former Delta Force commander could tell.

Probably but only because I have listened to so many I can't remember what I have already finished.
It was very good.
Does a great job
I'm going to like this but I really did but it just didn't quite get there this book had a long lead up to it was supposed to be an epic ending and the ending just rather sucked
The description of the action, the characters each had a consistent personality throughout the entire novel and the ability to see the scenarios in my mind's eye.
Clear and Present Danger by Tom Clancy due to the descriptive nature of the action, the character consistency and military bearing is correct.
The takedown of the main site and all of the multiple angles that were described and considered as it was described.
I wish I could have, keeping up with the action and progression of the story and characters can be difficult.
Great book, great story and series. I'll be back for more!
Riveting. Intense. Enjoyable.
The narrator made the book come alive - he didn't just read it with voice changes for the different characters, which is what I'm used to. this narrator used tone, inflection, volume, pacing, etc. to make the book come alive! It was as if I was watching a movie, the narration so vivid that I could 'see' the story. Listening to Audible is a great way to beat traffic, but this is the first book I've ever listened to that was made even better by hearing it.
This book is an excellent follow up to Black Site. It is full of action and suspense. I really enjoy these novels by Dalton. Better than any Clancy or Cussler novel I have read.
This book, while not as good as the first book was a great listen. It started out slow, then went into over drive in action. Looking forward to the next one!
Excellent story and characters.
It's nice to have a hero that is like a normal person and not built like Superman (Dewey Andreas, Jack Reacher).
IMHO better than Scot Harvath (I have read the entire series).
Definitely my Mitch Rapp replacement. Looking forward to more from Dalton Fury.
Narration was good and made the characters come alive.
I will start off by saying the action sequence at the start of this novel was the most compelling start I have ever experienced in an audio book. The traffic and bad drivers melted away and I was with the characters on the plane.
Competently written in a straight forward style that focuses on the action rather that flowery dialogue and descriptions.
The narrator is good I would be happy to listen to him again.
Two things let this novel down a tiny bit. Sections in the middle of the book seem to drag on a little. The plot also is a little on the unbelievable side, too many coincidences and too many other ways the situations presented in the book could of been resolved. Except for the main characters everybody else is stupid and incompetent.
If you can allow the author some latitude with the plot this is a gripping and highly recommended audio book.
