I was GLUED to this book...until I was DONE!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

THis book was incredible! I was hooked from the beginning and listened to the entire book at one sitting! Yup, I don't have a life! LOL

I am now looking for a book that will be as good as this one and grab my attention by Nora Roberts and just listened to The Search. Although I liked it a lot...it was not as good as The Witness.

I sent it to my nephew; an avid reader. I think anyone would like this book; it is full of twists and turns and an incredible protagonist.

good beginning but such a drag

it was really good in the beginning but really felt like a drag from the middle. I usually finish books even if I don't enjoy it too much but I couldn't keep at it. ended up skipping quite a few chapters. I don't regret reading it but most likely will not read another book from this author.

Roberts has incredible ability creating characters

I found this novel to be exciting, believable and well-read by the performer. Roberts demonstrates her ability to create intriguing characters that you begin to care about as the story goes on. This book was not full of surprises or twists and turns, but it was a good thriller with fantastic character development, a good plot and a message that love can overcome all. I would definitely recommend this book.

Yes, absolutely! The narration was superb!

I found the narrator Julia Whelan to be excellent. She was able to successfully change from male to female with ease all while keeping into each character. I was amazed by her performance.

Detailed narration on everything which was part of the story, not letting anything away. Initial details of the plot were excellent

Towards the end, it appeared as if it was hurried a lot and finished abrupt. It could have a proper detailed ending (similar to Pelican brief).

Also, way too much details and explanation on food and preparation got me wondering if it is a food preparation guide.

Best book I have listed to on audible. Ever.

This is such a complex and well researched, intelligent novel. Well done! Looking for the next book from the author now.

A good listen! When you need a rest from vampires and intense murder mysteries I would recommend this book. Good narrator and a nice story. Nora Roberts never disappoints!
