Narrator great - good story, not amazing but definitely enjoyable.

Great story line

I appreciate when Nora Roberts weaves in a good plot and naturally brings in the romance. I really enjoyed this novel.

Listen to it as I Fall Asleep Most Nights

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. I shared this audible title with a friend while we were on a cruise and it kept her so captivated that she lost sight of what we should have been doing while on the cruise.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Witness?

When she finally told Brooks about her past.

What about Julia Whelan’s performance did you like?

I could tell which character she was portraying just by the sound of her voice. I am from the south and she had the dialect down.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Other than the beginning that let us know why Abigail is the way that she is and on the run, the rest of the book just did it for me.

Any additional comments?

I have other Nora Roberts books on tape. This is the best by far. I am going to see what other books the narrator has read because she could be the reason I loved this book so much.

Entertaining Story

I definitely enjoyed the book. It was a little more romance inclined than what I'm used to, However, the suspense of the story keep you interested.

It was the first time I heard a book with my brother. Whom is the most hating person in the world, however we both were looking forward going to work everyday to hear the next chapter.

I loved the sarcastic tone the main character has. And how socially awkward she is.

Favorite Phrase: Scoop of bulshit.

Yes, definitely.

What other book might you compare The Witness to and why?

Girl with the dragon tattoo as the heroine of the story has similar traits.

What about Julia Whelan’s performance did you like?

She has a wonderful range of character voices and her accent isn't overpowering.

Really loved this book and wish it were part of a series. A great introduction to Nora's work and I have just downloaded two more of her books. Looking forward to many more late, late nights.

The story was good. New idea of following a young character through to adulthood.

I have not read/listened to Nora Roberts in some time. The last two however, seemed to follow a fairly predictable formula. While the stories are interesting, they could have a few more twists and turns.
