Nate Overbay, a former soldier suffering from PTSD and ALS, goes to an 11th-floor bank and climbs out the bathroom window onto the ledge, ready to end it all. Nate lost them both when he came back from Iraq broken and confused. Now he’s got one chance to protect the people he loves, even if it’s the last thing he is able to do.

Typical pulp

The writing is decent - draws out suspense too much but has good dialogue part of the time. If you are looking for something to pass the time, it should do the trick.

I know a book is goos when I don't want to stop my walk so I can keep listening. This book did the trick.

This book will give you a rollercoaster of emotions! It is one of the best books I've ever listened to, and I listen to a lot! Br prepared to experience, I'm sure, more personal emotions than you probably ever have in one listen!

Loved it! Everything was good. Great even Riveting, suspenseful, emotional, an edge of your seat page turner! It will envoke so many emotions you won't want to stop listening! Lovely, Beautiful, Heart-rending Story! A definite must read!

this book keeps you on the edge from start to finish ……and Scott Brick is wonderful …cementing himself as the best narrator in the business …… it is difficult to put down/stop listening

A really good read

Excellent dialogue, character development and storyline. Several very moving character interactions. Refreshing to experience a creative mind in action. Scott Brick as always enhances the overall experience.

Anything that Hurwitz writes and Scott Brick reads is very special. I haven’t been disappointed yet… and I have read most of them.

Great Story With Scary Criminals

Good take on a basic action book. Kept my interest without having to fast forward though any cringy sex. Very likable hero that, thanks to a twist, didn't end the book like all the others of this genre. I really like this author and the reader is the best. Would like to have seen the annoying teenage daughter get creamed way before the villains but didn't have much hope for that.

Already a fan but OMG was this fantastic

There are characters that have you cheering for but none better than Nate. Even more impressive if the amount of tears I had. It is well worth the expense plus Scott Brick is always a good choice.
