I LOVE HIS BOOKS

This did not disappoint. On the edge action, and an alive story line/ I enjoyed it immensely

What other book might you compare The Hit to and why?

I've read the Camel Club series by the author, and I would say is comparable - conspiracy, search for truth, awesome 'man in black' activities...just call him Robbie...Double O Robie.

Which character – as performed by Ron McLarty and Orlagh Cassidy – was your favorite?

Robbie was my favorite

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I couldn't describe it without giving things away, but towards the end there was a good moment there.

Totally gonna keep up with Robbie.

The female narrator almost made me stop listening.

Where does The Hit rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Don't know. I have hundreds of books

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

No

What didn’t you like about Ron McLarty and Orlagh Cassidy ’s performance?

McLarty is great. Cassidy is a fine actress, but the voice is wrong for a younger heroine. You're thinking a 35 year old and Cassidy's voice makes you picture a 50 plus year old office manager. This is NOT the role for her. And the southern accent, for every female voice drove me nuts. I kept thinking "make it stop!"

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

As usual, a wonderful book, great plot. Baldacci is one fine story teller.

Terrific characters and attention to detail immersed in a well researched and grounded story that captures the attention. I always want to know the ending but never want his books to end. Thank you David Baldacci and thank you Audible.

Enjoyed 4 books in this series

One male & one female reader, really made the characters easy to follow. I sure enjoyed! Was an easy listen with good continent..... not to many characters to keep track of & not complex deep story line....give it a try. I have listened to 4 books in this series & enjoyed!

I know bad people are in office, but how high up?

I have no doubt that there are "hired hit men", I just wonder how high up the command they are known about? Very interesting.

The story was fast paced and the characters were well developed. Well worth the read.
