My favorite book in the series so far. Excellent storyline, characters, etc. I loved everything about this book.

Not a fan of lawyers
Great writing. Now I remember why I don't like lawyers. Not action packed, more of a court tv kind of thing. Clients are dicks, lawyers are dicks. I like Harry Bosch. He's a straight shooter. Haller is a prima donna. I'll probably listen to it a third time, because the writing is great. Like listening to a ballet of words.

Great book!!
Fantastic book. Difficulty interrupting listening to it. Narration was excellent. Court room drama made you feel like you were there. My next audiobook will be a Michael Connelly book.

Always on the mark...
Connelly's confident economy of language, well-crafted plots, and skillfully revealed characters always add up to a great listen or read. In this murder trial drama, one comes to appreciate the vicissitudes of a game well played by all the legal participants. Connelly's thorough grasp of courtroom procedure is an education unto itself. Once again, he shows himself to be the premiere crime writer of the day.

Entertaining Legal Thriller
The courtroom scenes are believable and spot on. I appreciate the authors detail about the drama that goes on in trials outside the courtroom. Real trials are nothing like you see in entertainment TV. This is one not to miss.

Awesome story!!!
I have been listening to audible books for about 3 years, probably over 200 titles and this is definitely in my top 5 for performance and story. Just a great great listen.
