My Last Maya Banks Novel 😭

Love Banks’ stories, and don’t mind the profanity, but the Constant blasphemy and goofy raw sex are just too much. She seems to focus on a fan base who don’t get laid either well enough or often enough. Her writing skills are strong so it’s unclear why she believes the gratuitous blasphemy and silly sex scenes are necessary to retain reader interest.

I’m in love with this series

I happened on another book later in the series and fell in love with the KGI family. The stories are filled with action, suspense, mystery, laughter and love. I can’t wait to learn about each character and how the grow throughout the series!

just ok

I struggled a bit with this book. The beginning didn't grab me like I hoped. This book was more of an action romance than suspense like I expected. I managed to finish though and it did get a bit better.

Swallowing narrator

This story was fine by but the narrator, Harry Berkeley needs to be aware of how loud he swallows, it's super annoying. Maybe the guy had a cold, he sounds nasaly, but everytime he swallowed, I cringed.

Rachel and Ethans story

Story of Lost, and new beginnings. This book is well written, and can pull emotions out. Harry Berkley is companioned well with this book and is able to ready emotions into the story, his performance was grand. Now I am off to the second installment of this series. I recommend this book. It has tough sexy bad boys, ie a family of 6 brothers well controlled by the love of their mother and father. they have each others backs no matter what, plus a new addition due to mom's picking up strays. Suspense, who done it or who is doing it. Loss, Rachel was buried 1 year ago. A package delivered by UPS and the information inside says Rachel is alive. Yes this is a great read and I do recommend it.

Over the top w feelings and cliches

The whole book was approximately 10% action and 90% characters describing their feelings. (eye roll!!) In addition, there were way too many clichés in the book and some were even used a couple of times, which should be a big no-no.

Side note but not really a spoiler: if you decide to listen to the book, count how many times the endearing phrase “sweet pea” is used. (Again, eye roll !) Ugh!!

2nd time reading/listening, still love it!

I love this series! The picture of a large perfectly imperfect family touches me deep!
