Sweet doggy story

I'm not an animal person. If you are, this is a must-listen book. Even for us non-animal people, it's a great read.

I hope see more adventures of Scott and Maggie in the future. I love the points of view from Maggie during the story. The narrator MacLeod Andrews is fantastic! This book took you through all emotions seamlessly. Many thanks to Mr. Crais for bringing to light the unsung canine hero's of war and police work.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I don't usually cry listening to books, but there were a couple of times that I cried with what was happening with Maggie.

The first book of the series and I have since read the second which is just as good.

Original story with great Robert Crais plot

No Elvis Cole or Joe Pike. Crais has created two new characters, one of whom is canine. Very good book and performance by the reader.

Great combination - police procedure, mystery, dog lore - I consider it one of the best, get it.

Great story!

This was my first Robert Crais book and I loved it. Loved the beautiful relationship between the main character and his dog, and watching them heal each other's internal wounds. Really great storyline that kept me up listening late in the night. And I love MacLeod Andrews narration.

More this a man and his dog story

This book was amazing. I love the way it was told from the point of view of the characters including Maggie the German Sheppard. I would recommend this to all.
