“I love all genres of books, however when I listen to audio books as I clean, garden, drive they are better with a lot of heat!
I really enjoyed this book once I got into it. The first couple of chapters were a bit of a drag but after that the book was rally good
I found this story was convoluted with the characters not established well enough to be real. The reader gave the impression that she wanted to finished it quickly as she was bored and wanted to go home! Very unsatisfying and it had me wishing it was over quickly too!
"so hard to keep interested"
Really slow and hard to keep interested and I have really tried. Up to chapter 9 and nothing interesting has happened at all
"not much action"
I found this tough going. Not much action at all. Lots of psychalogical umming and arring, I do like these books in general, but I was disappointed with this one.
"good if you are familiar with earlier books"
I really liked this book, and have enjoyed the others. this one does make a lot of reference to happenings in previous books, particularly the one before. I like the psychological aspects to it, and the examination of the characters, their actions, relationships and motivations. For me it makes it more interesting but if you are just looking for a crime novel, and haven't read or listened to the previous books, you may be disappointed.
