Publisher's summary

Best-selling author Andrew Peterson is back with a heart-stopping fourth installment of his wildly popular Nathan McBride series.

When a mysterious note referencing a top-secret US operation is tossed over the wall of the embassy in Nicaragua, Nathan McBride and his old pal Harv are called out of retirement by CIA Director Rebecca Cantrell and sent to Central America. Cantrell wants the situation resolved quickly and knows that Nathan is the man to do it; after all, he has a history with the place. The jungle he and Harv are about to land in is the same one that Nathan barely escaped with his life decades before, an ordeal that left him physically and psychologically scarred. To make it out alive a second time, Nathan will have to face down his own demons and square off with a ruthless killer who learned from the best, Nathan himself.

Slow to get going....

But turned out to be a pretty good read. Bring on the 5th book. "I am ready, willing and able..."

Very good overall

It started off a little bit environmental and I was afraid Peterson mat have gone fruitcake greenie, but the story quickly turned back to normal Peterson style. As always, Dick Hill was excellent.

Great Story

I really am intrigued with the characters in these books. I love Harv and Nathan and admire their love and friendship. The characters are very believable and relatable. The book gives the reader a front row seat into their adventures.

awsome, one of my new favorites.

i enjoy the realism, with Bate getting shot at times. It might be time for something to happen to Harv (i haven't been past book 4 yet).

Drawn out

Most of the story happens within a 24-36 hour period. Yet it was an 11 hour book. Way too drawn out.

Personal reference

Enjoyed the story but thought parts drug out to long. In places the dialogue was very hard to understand . Overall I will read the sequel, hope it is easier to understand.
