one of the best books! love jd robb!
Its fascinating how cool the futuristic police force can do with all the gadgets they have. The story is intriguing and the twist in the end is great! But that is the in death series!

Good mystery
I quit reading Robb's books years ago because they seemed more like "how to pleasure a woman" books, that I wished my husband would read. Gave up on the husband, this book seemed tame. It was a good book that gave an interesting view of the current political climate, and the questions we face today, from a "what if" future.

Nth reread
I was getting tired of reading beta heroes and insipid heroines, so I opened Naked In Death. Sigh. Sooooo good. I’ve been reading this series since 1995 and it has held up time and time again. I love Roarke and Eve. My most favorite couple and series ever.

Great story
This is the first book of the In Death series. These are books I preorder and read as soon as they're available. Even though I've read this book more than once I bought it to listen to on a long trip. It was totally worth it! The narrator did a good job with the story. Eve Dallas is a murder cop in New York circa 2051. She investigates homicides. In this story a high class licensed companion is brutally murdered. The victim was also the granddaughter of a powerful senator making this a highly sensitive case. Roarke, a self made businessman with more money than God, is a suspect. He and Eve share an attraction which adds to the already complicated case.

Addiction started
I guess that when a writer is really good, it can span across genres. So Nora Roberts, a.k.a. J. D. Robb, I have listened to my first book written by you, and not my last. The character development in Naked in Death was wonderful. I am looking forward to my next encounter with Lt. Eve Dallas -- flaws and all.
