Years later - after another bolt of lightning - the stranger returned, again to save Laura from tragedy. Was he the guardian angel he seemed? The devil in disguise? Or the master of a haunting destiny beyond time and space?

"The paradox in time travel's tampering with history provides an interesting twist in this gripping thriller by a popular writer." (Library Journal)
"Fast paced and satisfying." (People)
Entertaining , at first thought it was a simple mystery. Interesting fantasy in the plot.
Very entertaining read. First time I read one of his books and it's a good one to start off with. I will be reading more of his books in the future.
I didn't read it, but I've read a few others and then listened to the audio. I can't think of a Dean Koontz narrator that I didn't like yet so as long as the narration is stellar, I'm good. I enjoy listening much better as I like to walk as much as 3.5 hours daily.
Timeline by Michael Crichton in the time travel and suspense angle. Each totally different stories, but both very enjoyable.
Not sure. I've listened to so many now. However, Christopher does great accents and I enjoyed his narration greatly.
I can't say because it would be a "spoiler". But I truly loved the main characters.
Fear Nothing (both in series), Timeline, Longmire Series (fantastic narration) and this book are of my top favorite audio books. If you enjoy a break from thrillers and want fun, try The Rosie Project (girl appeal), Ready Player One (gammers will love this one), and if you want an all round fun adventure, Off to Be The Wizard.
I wish more people would recommend similar books. I had a difficult time going outside Dean Koontz once I was addicted.
Hunger Games, Ender, and Maze Runner series are hands-down, the best book series "after" Longmire (different genera).
This book is one of my all time favorites. I have read it several times and now, having it in audio format I can listen to it whenever I like. Which is usually on my way to work. Love it.
Held my interest from the very beginning to the very end. Thrilling, exciting, edge of your seat, a real page turner. It is such an interesting story. I loved all the characters. Didn't want it to end. I had read this book a while back and enjoyed it at that time. However, on audible with Christopher Lane as narrator, his many amazing voices made the experience of listening to the story that much better. His performance was Oscar worthy. I will look for more books with him as the narrator. Highly recommend! Definitely worth the credit
Edge of your seat, with twists and turns throughout
The action packed conclusion
