Publisher's summary

Lawyer and author David Hosp's novels, including Dark Harbor, are best-sellers. Now lawyer Scott Finn is caught in the middle of a touchy case. A policewoman is left for dead in an alley, and when she recovers she points the finger at an El Salvadorian immigrant with gang ties. But all the evidence is pointing the other way. And as Finn digs deeper, he finds a thin line between guilt and innocence.

EXCELLENT!

Great story with compelling characters. I'm hoping that this is a series.
The narrator is excellent and does a wonderful job changing voices for each character.

Give it 5 Stars!!

Awesome book

I have been looking for a series that can capture my attention since reading all of Vince Flynns books. Until now I had not found it. This is turning out to intrigue me......and of course George Guidall can make any book sound even better.

The bad guys are all kindergartners

There’s some Jekyll and Hyde character to this book. Our 3-4 main characters have depth but the others are cardboard cutouts. Their ideas and spoken words are sub-adolescent. Not even enough character to be stereotypes. This is in sharp contrast to the clever intra-good-guy banter which is almost superlative.

It’s as if Hosp let a 8 y.o. Write the bad guy parts and some of the legal stuff too. I suspect what really happened is he didn’t finish the book and just used the plot outline draft wherever he couldn’t be bothered to insert realistic or sophisticated prose. Next time: finish and polish before publishing.

Holy F-bomb

For those with tender ears I must give a warning. When the author could not think of a noun, verb, adjective or adverb he used that word. I don't have tender ears. I just don't want to hear the F word in every sentence. I got pretty irritated hearing it. I have been around a whole bunch of people in my long life and of all the people I know and have known, they just don't speak that way. Otherwise, I liked the book. It was a continuation of the first book which I very much liked. He used better grammar in the first.

I liked it - I didn't love it - But I liked it

My son says I say that all the time - But it fits this book. I am a George Guidall fan so I liked the narration. It's my first David Hosp book... I may try another.

If you're looking for a book and can't find anything - Than give this a try.

I know that's not a great endorsement - But its all I got.

REAL

This is a story, timeless, yet authentically and sadly timely as we all try to do what is just with our own brief stay on this earth.

Overall Excellent

Overall I enjoyed the book and the story. It did however leave me with a couple unanswered questions.

Excellent

David Hosp takes you on another ride with just the right amount of plausible twists and turns. Highly recommend this read! And, of course, George Guidall is fabulous as the narrator!

Great book

What did you love best about Innocence?

I really liked this book despite the course language. Great characters, and once again really liked George Guidall's narration.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Great characters, narration and story. I hope to listen to more from this author. I am a big fan of legal thrillers and this, IMHO, is a hidden gem. Well done David Hosp!!!
