Wedding dresses, flowers, parties, and murder
Mavis introduces Eve to Leonardo to design her wedding dress. They end up being attacked by the jealous and feral model, Pandora. Eve has to arrest and then exonerate Mavis in Pandora’s murder; then there’s 3 more. Eve gets Peabody temporarily assigned as her aid during the investigation. Together they have to dodge Jake Casto, the narcotics investigator they’re supposed to work with tracking down Immortality, the new designer drug. Eve ends up having a very memorable bachelorette party, aka hen party. The story ends with Eve walking out into the garden for their wedding.
Ericksen does a great job differentiating between characters and emotions.

Really good book
Love this series. Great characters, great plot and great mystery with lots of twists. The author adds lots of humor in with the story around all the serious situations. Not a light book, not a cozy by any means. There are some very violent crimes . some sex scenes that are to detailed (I
prefer to leave more to the imagination, kind of old fashioned, that I skipped through) . Beside the sex I really love the book, highly recommended.

Great way to plan a wedding.
I absolutely loved the story. I didn't want it to end. I love the many characters and their development in Eve and Roake's lives. Shocking learning how Eve life takes it turns. I am loving this series.

Excellent novel. Highly recommend.
Exciting storyline with several twists and surprises. Complex plot, yet easy to follow. Definitely recommend for those who enjoy a mystery saturated in romance with a futuristic setting. Narration is very well performed though I do have different imagined styles for the characters than were narrated. Overall excellent book, which of course is to be expected from an author that never disappoints.
