In Harvest, the book that introduced us to Tess Gerritsen's unique blend of medical expertise, harrowing suspense, and brilliantly crafted plot twists, the dark side of medical research is exposed. Harvest vividly portrays a young woman doctor challenging a world where medical miracles and greed fuel a lethal conspiracy - and the bright lights of the O.R. conceal the ultimate corruption of genius.

"Harvest is the best medical thriller I've read since Coma." (James B. Patterson)
"Harvest is a nonstop, terrifying read and Tess Gerritsen is a real find." (Michael Palmer)
I usually like Tess Gerritsen books but I couldn't get through this one. I guess I see it as a manufactured thriller with pointless twists.
No. Maybe this one did not resound with me.
George Guidall is my favorite narrator. I chose this book because he was narrating it.
It seemed like it could be real.
Could this happen to you??
Very interesting and suspenseful. Great story.
Kept me listening
The rapid pace of the story
He's the best narrator you have - I can really "feel" the characters he narrates.
This was a really good medical thriller with characters you could relate ot.
Really enjoyed the story and the performer, just wish the space between chapters wasn't so long, but understandable sense it's older then most. But Overall I loved it and plan on listening to more by this writer.
Middle of the road, not the best, but far from the worst.
The main character, she showed grit and determination, albeit there were times when she did get a bit out of control, crossed lines most wouldn't. Made you think either she was really bold or really stupid.
The voice range, did males and females pretty good.
Enjoying one good listen after the next!
What starts out as a very plausible story line devolves into a rather unimaginable plot. . . but then, isn't that what fiction can/should be? Truthfully, I'd be engaged with any book read by George Guidall. . . love his voice, inflections and perfected pausing and pacing. A believable medical mystery it is not. But a fun listen, it is.
This is my favorite!! I read this years ago and loved it, but wanted to listen to it to. Well worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tess is amazing at keeping you at the edge of your seat. The characters were brought to life, and love or hate for them is well developed.
Didnt really have a favorite, they were all great!
So far my favorite.
Yes it was so good I couldnt stop.
That the girl did not give in to the preasure of the group
none that I have read
the lead woman she was a tough cookie
when they were taking the children from there home land to be the doners
It was a little confusing at first when they were taking the children but It worked out ok
About the middle (3.5)
Yes, It's a medical thriller and my friends like that kind of suspense.
Yes I have, he's top notch. One of the best. I think I have listened to 15+ stories he has narrated.
No, It's kind of a quwissey subject, I had to put it down and wait till the next day to get into it again. I lke good old fashioned Murder stories. Tess G. is an excellant writer, I really like her style, The love story in this one taints it a little.
This book really sucked me in because the premise is so believable. We all assume that out doctors are above reproach, but what if they are motivated by something other then the desire to heal?!
