Wraps up the series

If you have come this far, you need to finish the series. He wraps it up realistically with a few surprises. As always, characters are great, narration is spot on, and Lee holds your interest by keeping the plot moving along.

Great book, read Breach first then this!

Picks up great after "The Breach!" Loved the first book and this one keeps the suspenseful twists coming! Already bought the 3rd book "Deep Sky" and can't wait to see where this story goes now! If you love sci-fi mysteries in the same league as Peter Clines with more action then this is the book for you!!

good narration, exiting story, interesting concepts. i had a lot of fun with it. makes me want a lot more.

I'm enjoying this writers work quite a lot. I really enjoy the unique and original ideas in this author's stories! I REALLY hope there will be more to come in the Breach series!

Don’t wait to read/listen!

Should have listened to this next book much sooner after the first - thoroughly enjoyed, but hard to remember some of the continuing plot lines.

Worth the time

I just want to say, this book does not disappoint. No it is not comparable to The Breach, it is just as entertaining. I rated this as 5 stars based on all the negative reviews I had read on here. I went in with a semi open mind and it did not disappoint. Enjoy

In Awe of Patrick Lee

This is the 3rd book I’ve read by Lee, the 2nd in this series, and each one has further convinced me that this guy is insanely gifted. Due to the fact that he is a “genre” writer, he will likely never get the kind of recognition he deserves, but so be it. The fact remains that he is the king of the science fiction/techno thriller. The breadth of his scientific knowledge and the depth of his imagination, coupled with his well above average skills as a writer, have resulted in some of the most entertaining thrillers I have read in my life.

Lee’s novels are much more than your average thriller. The stories and scenarios he conjures are rarely predictable and always unique. Sometimes they border on improbability, but I have never felt myself losing my suspension of disbelief while reading these books. They are unforgettable and will provide you food for thought long after you’ve finished them.

I can’t wait to start the next Travis Chase novel. Also, the first Sam Dryden book (Runner) was equally terrific, and I am very happy to see that there are two more books in that series as well. Sometimes it’s nice to be a late comer to a good thing!

Oh, forgot to mention: the narration was really good too! Perfectly complimented the story and writing. 5 stars all around. This is why I spend much more time listening to audiobooks than watching movies or TV shows these days. The entertainment value is exponentially higher.

Great series!

I’ve really enjoyed the whole series. The “breach” is a fascinating concept. The characters were a bit slow to develop as individuals but they got there in this book especially and to care about them and their destiny! I recommend the series highly. I enjoyed the narrator’s style and delivery.

Great sequel

This was better than the first novel in the series. All around excellent! highly recommend!
