Publisher's summary

#1 New York Times bestselling author Brad Thor brings readers his darkest and most intriguing thriller yet - a terrifying story of espionage and betrayal - brilliantly paced with superb nonstop action.

Born in the shadows and kept from heads of state, there are some missions so deadly, so sensitive, that they simply don't exist.

When one such mission goes horribly wrong, a wave of dramatic terrorist attacks is set in motion. Their goal: the complete and total collapse of the United States.

With the CIA's intelligence abilities hobbled, former Navy SEAL Team 6 member turned covert counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath launches an audacious plan to infiltrate the terrorists' network and prevent one of the biggest threats the United States has ever faced.

Simultaneously, a foreign wet work team has been sent to California. Their target: one of Hollywood's most famous filmmakers.

While working on a secret documentary project, movie producer Larry Salomon has unknowingly exposed one of the world's wealthiest and most politically connected powerbrokers - a man with a radical anti-American agenda poised to plunge the nation into deadly, irreversible chaos.

As the plots rocket to their pulse-pounding conclusion and the identities of the perpetrators are laid stunningly bare, Harvath will be left with only one means to save America. Unable to trust anyone, he will be forced to go Full Black.

Intense and frighteningly realistic, Full Black is, hands down, Brad Thor's most riveting thriller to date.

Best in the series

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Outstanding read paralleling today's headlines. And a primmer as to the fallacies of socialism/communism and the "new" progressive blather. I would suggest that you begin with the first book in the series, though. These books were well worth the investment of time and enhanced my enjoyment of this particular performance. And the insights discussed in the interview between Mr. Thor and Mr. Schultz at the end of the book were terrific!

What about Armand Schultz’s performance did you like?

There are many talented narrators reading Audio books. Armand Schultz is among my favorites. He seems to relate to, and convey, the thought processes that go through the protagonist's mind. The new recording technologies including appropriate sound effects are getting close to what I envisioned Audible books sounding like 10 years ago when I first began listening to audio books.

Riveting and eye opening

Would you listen to Full Black again? Why?

I have listened to it three times already and I do not want to stop. I love this series. I think faction is the best genera of fictional novels in years. Keeping fiction in fact, and me mildly informed while entertaining is something I love.

What did you like best about this story?

Scott Harvaths character

What does Armand Schultz bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I believe he give sthe characters life.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Can anything be so evil to make Scott Harvath go, Full Black

Any additional comments?

Caint wait for more

Another great book!

Scott Harvath returns in a story that is all too close to reality. Here's to the hope that the real Scott's are out there keeping us safe!

needs more action

I have read a bunch of Brad Thor's books and they are generally great. this one seem to spend too much time with random conversations between people and essentially stuff that was boring non action things. Too much conversational detail in places that didn't need it so it tended to be fairly boring in parts. The end was great but probably could have cut have cut out a third of the book.

Preachy cr-p

What a waste of time. This book is just a pulpit for the author to lecture about his political perspective rather than entertain the reader. I didn't get past the first hour.
