The narrator killed this book for me and I am a Crais fan. If you can get past the narrator you might like it.

The interaction between Cole and Pike is always authentic.
The narrator sounded like he was falling asleep.
Not an enjoyable listen had to take several breaks.
My first Elvis Cole and Joe PIke book. They are great characters. I am now hooked on them, and plan to listen to the entire series.
Mel Foster did a good job with the voices, and his inflections helped flesh out the personalities of each of the characters.
