Yes! The writing is superb! Always a very well rounded story with just the right amount of humor, drama, and heart warming tenderness. It all balances out so perfectly. Darynda Jones is a genius! Love it!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Do I really need to pick just one? That's soooo unfair. I'm gonna have to be a rule breaker and say... Charley Davidson (no brainer), Reyes (no brainer), Cookie, Amber, Swopes, Uncle Bob, Rocket, Strawberry shortcake, Mr. Wong, Angel, Artemis, Donovan and his gang... pretty much everyone that isn't a bad guy. It's really hard not to become attached to all of Darynda Jones' characters. They're all so real and lovable in their own special way.

What about Lorelei King’s performance did you like?

Lorelei King is the BOMB! A true artist! Seriously. Narrators can do one of three things to a book. They can either; 1) Add nothing to it whatsoever because the narration is completely neutral (this rarely happens), 2) Totally ruin a perfectly good book (Or even a so-so book). This tends to happens more often than not because it's the voice and inflection a narrator adds to the characters that can so easily change the way the dialogue is interpreted. Very tricky thing to get just right. OR 3) Their narration enhances the story, making a great book even better or improving a book that needed the help. That's what Lorelei King does. She is spot on in her narration for the story and EVERY character. I can't imagine Charley Davidson or anyone else sounding any other way. She's PERFECT! And I'm so glad she's THE narrator on every book. Please, please, please, don't EVER switch!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There are always moments in EVERY Charley Davidson book that move me. It's to be expected and one of the things I love about this series. But I'm not going to name any because I don't want to put any spoilers out there.

Why hasn't this series been picked up by a major cable network yet? Seriously! This would make a great TV series! Hello _______ (<--- insert major cable network call letters) exec's. This one's a real gem. Don't let the opportunity to snare it slip through your fingers.

Can't Wait for More!

I LOVE this series. Charley Davidson is fantastic, love the banter between characters, it's so funny but at the same time serious. I have been waiting for this book to come out and after listening to it I'm going to go crazy waiting for the next one to come out. If you like Charlene Harris or Janet Evanovich, you will love this series. Read, listen enjoy!

Never disappointed.

Darynda Jones is a master at blending suspense, paranormal, romance, & witty writing into a intricate plot guaranteed to keep you hooked. I have read and re-read this series multiple times as well as listened to these audiobooks over & over. Lorelei King does a fantastic job at voicing not only Charley but the series many supporting characters. This is a series you'll never regret purchasing.

Funny, witty, interesting, adventurous story of Charlie Davidson who comes off as a bumbling idiot when in reality she is anything but. Highly entertaining story.

Love this series

I’ve enjoyed the others in this series but this one was more entertaining then usual. Lorelei King does an amazing job bringing it all to life. The characters are great and Charley’s story just gets better and better. Gotta love those post-it notes!

As usual Darynda's book narrated by 's Ms King is outstanding. From 1st chapter to last there is always a bit of mystery, homicide, sex & love mixed with a lot of supernatural topped with just enough comedy to keep me glued to the pages of each book in this series so far.
