Eleven On Top

I love the Stephine Plum Novels they make me laugh and the book seems to move smoothly no slow spots in the plot.

Be careful if you listen to this while driving. I laughed so hard that I almost crashed.

You'd think after 11 books with the same characters, the story line would start getting old -- but not with this series!! Interesting and funny -- STILL!! #12 is just as good too and can't wait to read/listen to #13!! Best series ever written! Thank you Janet Evonovich!!

Stephine Works for Ranger

Would you consider the audio edition of Eleven on Top to be better than the print version?

Not so much better, but more relaxing to listen to the story.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes, just following along this story was an adventure with a surprise ending. Loved Lula as the Bounty Hunter and Stephanie helping her is just hysterical.

What about Lorelei King’s performance did you like?

Lorelei has Lula down pat and Ranger is a little less Scarface than the past books.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I took my time with this one so it took two days. Nice read.

Entertaining and funny

I love the Stephanie Plum series, Part predictable, Part unpredictable. This Reader is always fantastic.

So Stephanie decides to get a normal job. You guessed it! This doesn't work out very well. Combined with her sisters wedding planning, an eggplant dress for Steph, and some explosions fires and madcap chases this is a great listen especially if you need some laughs

What did you love best about Eleven on Top?

I love the sexual tension between the characters.

What did you like best about this story?

I really like Grandma Mazur and can picture the late Estelle Getty playing her. She's sassy and I always like her trips to Stiva's funeral home.

Which scene was your favorite?

When her cello was introduced. It was so funny...

Any additional comments?

I've read the Evonovich books through book 10 and really enjoyed them. Having the audio made "reading" the ELEVEN ON TOP book experience more enjoyable. I turn on my Kindle when I work in my art room and the hours just fly by. I used to turn the TV on for "background noise" but I am liking this, my first audio book, much better. I'm sure I will get more of these books in the future. This is much more fun than the TV by a long shot.
