Publisher's summary

Mackinac Island is a peaceful summer resort town where everyone coasts through the streets on bicycles. But after someone sends a prominent local on her final ride, it's up to one resourceful visitor to get things running again....

Hoping to shift her chances of a promotion in her favor, Evie Bloomfield heads to Mackinac Island to assist her boss's father. Rudy Randolph has broken his leg and operating his bike shop, Rudy's Rides, is too much to handle by himself. But Evie's good turn only leads to more trouble....

After Evie's arrival, wealthy resident Bunny Harrington dies in what looks like a freak bike accident. Upon closer inspection, Bunny's brakes were tampered with, and now the prime suspect in her murder is also Bunny's number one enemy: Rudy. So if Evie hopes to stay on her boss's good side, she'll need to steer Rudy clear of jail. Now she must quickly solve this mystery so she can put the brakes on the real killer's plan....

Fun and entertaining

I'm glad I got this book. It's an entertaining cozy mystery with engaging characters and a well written plot. I ha no idea who the killer was until it was revealed at the end. I hope the next book in this series will be available soon.

GREAT NEW SERIES

I LOVE THE MACKINAC ISLAND SETTING, THE CHARACTERS, LITTLE TWISTS, AND IT MADE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD, LITERALLY. I CANNOT WAIT TO LISTEN TO MORE OF EVIE'S ESCAPADES IN HER NEW HOME, WITH HER NEW FRIENDS, AND MAYBE NEW GUY, NOT TO MENTION "CARMEN." READ IT. ENJOY IT. YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

Head Over Heels

I''m head over heels for this first installment of Duffy Brown's Cycle Path trilogy. The characters would have been believable and relatable anyway, but Ceit Zweil's colorful narration added to the engrossing story - I couldn't stop listening - and I love the series so much, that I already bought the other two audiobooks!

Good read!

I enjoyed the story and comedy of the book. The writer could have put more descriptive details regarding the scenes.

Cute book that Just Ends

This book has one of the strangest endings, it just quits. What’s up with that?

This is a very light comedy mystery. And I will admit I found it cute. A little slap stick. The characters were stereotypes, which was partly for humor. So all in all, cute. And then it quit.
