Trouble seems to find Stephanie Plum no matter where she goes, and once again she's struggling with her tangled love life, her chaotic family, and her God-given gift for destroying every car she drives. This time, Stephanie has decided to quit her job as a bounty hunter. She wants something safe. She wants something normal. She's tired of creeps, weirdos, and stalkers. But just when she thinks she's out, they pull her back in!
This latest novel is packed full of Janet Evanovich's trademark wit, adventure, and sly comedy. So fasten your seatbelt and hang on...Stephanie's back in town!

"A pleasing romp." (Publishers Weekly)
"It's wonderful to watch both a beloved character and a cherished author grow, and both Stephanie Plum and Evanovich do not disappoint." (Booklist)
I have to admit I'm hooked! I really enjoy the Stephanie Plum stories, but what send me over the top is the narrarator. Lorelei King does such a great job, you easily will believe it's more than one person reading. She takes Evanovich's stories to new levels.
I recommend starting with the whole series. King doesn't start reading till book seven though, and the characters aren't as interesting and gripping until she narrates.
THESE ARE A MUST READ.
I'm a fan of the series, but not a fan of every title! This one however has the fun, humor, and sex appeal I've missed in the last 2 books. Definately worth it.
I just can't get enough of Janet Evanovich and Stephanie!!! The writing and story lines are great. Stephanie needs to live forever!!! Love the narrators. All are awesome in their own way. Eleven On top is one of the best yet.
Evanovich has done it again with her character, Stephanie Plum. I like the narrator and the laughs and there's even some internal movement with Stephanie.
I was disappointed w her last one, but she's proved she can come right back. A great listen
Stephanie Plum is always good for a laugh. For those who have never read a Stephanie Plum novel - a word of warning. Do not listen while driving. I am not kidding; I almost had a car accident because I was laughing so hard. I loved this particular installment in the many woes of Stephanie. Sure, her grandmother did not shoot a turkey in this one. However, she is still smart, self-effacing and gosh-darn cute.
Janet has done it again, great deal of fun. Thank God for Lorelei King -- she just brings these books to life, she is the best reader ever!
This series gripped me not for the story - which while fun is all fluff, car explosions and sexual tension - but for the narration which is brilliant. Lorelei King makes each character spring to life so well that you know instantly who is talking, in fact the characterization is better than some full cast dramatizations that I have listened to. If you want a truly entertaining listen this is a good choice. Like the rest of the Stephanie Plum novels Eleven On Top has moments of suspense, slapstick, and desire, however, if you want something with true suspense I suggest you look elsewhere.
C.J. Critt is the only one who can narrate the Stephanie Plum books. L. King is way off the mark, she particularly messed up Granma Mazurs voice, it doesnt match the character. Great dissapointment!
