Publisher's summary

Known by his alias, "Oliver Stone," John Carr is the most wanted man in America. With two pulls of the trigger, the men who destroyed Stone's life and kept him in the shadows were finally silenced.

But his freedom comes at a steep price: The assassinations he carried out prompt the highest levels of the U.S. government to unleash a massive manhunt. Behind the scenes, master spy Macklin Hayes is playing a very personal game of cat and mouse. He, more than anyone, wants Stone dead.

With their friend and unofficial leader in hiding, the members of the Camel Club risk everything to save him. Now, as the hunters close in, Stone's flight from the demons of his past will take him from the power corridors of Washington, D.C., to the small, isolated coal-mining town of Divine, Virginia-and into a world every bit as lethal as the one he left behind.

Divine Justice

I enjoyed this book and I enjoy this series. John Carr, aka Oliver Stone, is a true hero. This series has a great group of characters in their Camel Club. The character development draws you in and keeps you wanting more stories. I’m ready to read the next book.

Great action read

As usual in this series, there was plenty of action and multiple plots that make the story quite interesting just like all the others. And I find that the stories are quite unique and different and it seems that Stone finds trouble everywhere he goes or at least find an issue, but he has to fix everywhere he goes so he’s the typical hero.

Another excellent story…

I am always amazed by the twists and turns in Baldacci’s works and this one did not disappoint! At times, I was very busy while listening so I found myself rewinding and re-listening, because I didn’t want to miss anything! A great ending!!
